About this season
To Serve and Protect is a Canadian documentary television series. It is somewhat similar to the American series COPS. The show documents the day-to-day events of police officers in Canadian cities such as Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver as well as several other Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachments in British Columbia. In addition there are some episodes featuring trips to Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and Memphis, Tennessee. The program began in 1993 on KVOS, an American station that primarily targets the Vancouver market.

Police arrest a suspect at gunpoint wanted on a nationwide warrant. Bike squad officers call for code 3 back up at a nightclub.
2. Episode 2
Police are involved in a pursuit of a stolen vehicle. A stag party gets out of control and multiple arrests are made.
3. Episode 3
A naked woman is apprehended in an apartment building. A domestic dispute between an exotic dancer and her boyfriend turns violent.
4. Episode 4
Police attend a house fire where human remains are found. Shots are fired in a suburban neighborhood.
5. Episode 5
Police are called to a shooting. An inebriated biker is found inside a church. A loud house party goes bad.

Police helicopter tracks assault suspects using night vision. An impaired driver leads police on a long chase.
7. Episode 7
Police investigate reports of a stalker. A victim with a gunshot wound is found in a park. The K-9 Unit tracks the suspect.
8. Episode 8
Police recover a cache of stolen weapons. A car thief escapes custody but is recaptured by a police dog.
9. Episode 9
Police raid an illegal marijuana growing operation in a quiet suburb. Car thieves are taken down at gunpoint.

Police investigate shots fired into the side of a house. An off-leash pitbull attacks a police vehicle. Stolen property is recovered.
11. Episode 11
Police respond Code 3 to a hostage-taking involving young children. Mobile drug dealers are taken down outside a convenience store.
12. Episode 12
Citizens arrest a suspected car thief after assaulting him with a baseball bat. A drunk couple is found in the middle of a busy highway.
13. Episode 13
Police respond to an armed prowler outside an apartment building. A man is accused of prostituting his girlfriend.
