About this season
To Serve and Protect is a Canadian documentary television series. It is somewhat similar to the American series COPS. The show documents the day-to-day events of police officers in Canadian cities such as Edmonton, Winnipeg, Vancouver as well as several other Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachments in British Columbia. In addition there are some episodes featuring trips to Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and Memphis, Tennessee. The program began in 1993 on KVOS, an American station that primarily targets the Vancouver market.

Police respond Code 3 to a robbery in progress at an auto body shop. Two fugitives threaten police with a butcher knife.
2. Episode 2
A teenage mob destroys a city park. Police are called to a domestic dispute after a woman is stabbed.
3. Episode 3
Police investigate a call from a witness after a woman is dragged into a car. The vice squad attends an alleged house of ill repute.
4. Episode 4
Police intervene in an attempted suicide. A drug dealer does business out of a camper. An impaired driver hits a house.
5. Episode 5
A pedestrian is killed by a bus. Police raid a drug lab located in a residential neighborhood.
6. Episode 6
A male is assaulted and robbed by two females. Police respond to a potential arson in a mobile home park.
7. Episode 7
Police help evict an unruly tenant. A woman is sexually assaulted in a skid row rooming house.
8. Episode 8
A citizen is the victim of an assault with a machete. Police respond to a call of shots fired near a transit station.
9. Episode 9
Police respond Code 3 to an armed robbery in progress. A suspect is apprehended after a high-speed chase.
10. Episode 10
Police investigate a call for help after the telephone is abruptly disconnected. A bloody domestic dispute results in life-threatening injuries.
11. Episode 11
Police conduct undercover surveillance of a suspected drug house. A suspect high on drugs threatens neighbors with a gun.
12. Episode 12
Police are involved in a high-speed pursuit of a stolen vehicle. An impaired driver crashes into a store front.
13. Episode 13
Police respond to a call of shots fired near a school. A nude suspect is found wandering in a park.
