The deeper Matilda delves, the clearer the picture becomes of a man who has created an alternative reality for himself because the truth is too hard to bear. Hassan has been hiding behind a wall of lies for 20 years, but the aftermath of Turku terrorist attack breaks down that wall.

The documentary series shows how Hassan Zubier sought out journalist-writer Matilda Gyllenberg because he wanted to tell the whole truth about his life. To avoid another attempted hoax, Matilda did extensive undercover work to confirm Zubier's claims.
