About this season
McKenna was a short-lived TV series that aired on ABC during the 1994–1995 season. It starred Chad Everett and Jennifer Love Hewitt. The series revolved around Brick McKenna, who returned to Oregon to take over his brother's business, McKenna Outfitters, after his death. He runs the business with his brother's widow, Leigh, and his father, Jack. His sister, Cassidy, and his niece and nephew, Rose and Harry, help out.

Brick McKenna returns home from the Racing circuit two years after the death of his older brother Guy. Trying to make amends with his father, Jack, Brick volunteers to take out a tour when Jack is injured. Jack agrees, but later decides to take the tour himself. An accident happens on the tour and Brick must rescue his father, putting himself in danger.
2. Splendor in the McKenna Grass

Brick comes up with a plan for a new rafting promotion, but the idea is stolen by an old girlfriend's brother. Brick tries to win the girlfriend back. Her brother gets into trouble while white water rafting and Jack & Brick come to the rescue.
3. The Pony

Leigh is dissatisfied with life as it is at McKenna Outfitters. She wants to get a horse suitable for dressage for Rose. A guest (Gloria Reuben) wants Leigh to partner with her in the Bed and Breakfast she wants to start. Meanwhile, Brick is dealing with a teen guest who doesn't want to do any of the activities his father arranged... he just wants Cassidy
4. Racing in the Streets

Brick rescues a woman from her abusive boyfriend and is lured back into street racing. Jack attempts to reconcile bickering guests.
5. Journey of Courage

A young man comes to McKenna Outfitters with one thing on his mind: to climb Widows peak. When Jack refuses to take him, Cassidy steps in and secretly helps him on his mission. When he runs into trouble, Jack and Brick not only rescue him, but help him come to terms with his attitude.
6. The Pursuit
A fugitive (Scott Marlowe) offers twice the going rate to the McKennas to be taken out.
7. Girl Gone
Jack’s estranged brother, Sam, returns to the ranch with his daughter, carrying years of resentment and a failing business. Meanwhile, Cassie gains a new respect for Walter, and a storm threatens the family’s alfalfa crop.
