Episode synopsis
In Tallaght, 32-year-old Sheila Sheikh has returned from two week trip to Egypt with the ultimate holiday souvenir - a new husband! Determined to share his culture she immerses herself in the world of belly dancing, a hobby that soon becomes an obsession. The question is can she transform this passion into a viable career? Will young addicts benefit from her course of therapy, Drug Rehabilitation Through the Medium of Belly Dancing? And will she lose her job at a local restaurant to a rival dancer?

Katherine Lynch's Working Girls is a three-part Irish comedy television programme broadcast on RTÉ Two in January 2008. It stars comedienne Katherine Lynch, who also co-wrote and co-produced the series alongside Warren Meyler. It was the pair's first television series. Lynch described it as a "hybrid" series, featuring both comedy sketches and interaction with the general public. Darragh McManus of the Irish Independent wrote that it was "in the spirit of the 'comedy of cringe' vein which is so in vogue".
