Varya comes to Evdokia and tells her about Nevrev's molestation. Eudoxia refuses to believe that such a thing is possible. The emperor tells Julia and she realizes that there is no reason for jealousy. The mysterious Illuminati advises D'Arny to forget about personal matters when there is so much at stake.
