Episode synopsis
After Prince Ahmed's death and Kurtçu Doğan's execution of Mehmed, Mehmed declares a new era, removing Kurtçu Doğan from Ocak Ağa and punishing the rebels. He reaffirms his goal of conquering Constantinople. Constantine, having exiled Notaras and brought in Sfrancis, tests Mehmed's stance on peace by sending an ambassador again. Meanwhile, Helena plans to marry off Constantine, seeking a suitable wife. In the harem, Halime's time ends as she passes away following Ahmed's death. Gülşah intercepts a letter sent to Mihriban, adding intrigue regarding Hala Sultan's involvement.
