Episode synopsis
LUNG and SA want to renovate their house. The couple has a dispute with LOK TAT TUNG, owner of a decoration company, and his son, LOK KUI SHING, over the decoration cost. FUNG can do nothing but to use her bonus to pay the father and son. KWAN has accidentally dropped WONG’s pet tortoise into the toilet bowl. She has lost her control; WONG and FUNG go and give her some comfort. The three go to have lunch together. CHUNG and ANGEL, who are nearby, talk about tortoises. When KWAN hears this, she loses control again and discloses that CHUNG is the father of her unborn baby. CHUNG is shocked. FUNG despises CHUNG for being playful and irresponsible. CHUNG complains to SHING, a good friend who went to the same school with CHUNG. SHING points out that CHUNG has had a crush on FUNG. LAM BEN, a waiter at Shui Kee, is greatly disappointed to know that Beauty, whom he loves, is none other than HO……

Life Made Simple is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in October 2005. The series is shown to celebrate TVB's 38th Anniversary. The series is an indirect sequel to 2002's Square Pegs. The main cast features Roger Kwok, Jessica Hsuan, and Leila Tong from the original series and new cast including Bosco Wong, and Paul Chun. The indirect sequel takes place in the modern era instead of the ancient setting of its prequel.
