What happens when you have a big basement with multiple uses? Call Frank Bielec and let him go to work to tie it all together. Using shelves, room dividers, and vivid colors, Frank creates a playroom, office, and living area all in one room. Meanwhile, Laurie Smith is grappling how to add softness and function to a small master bedroom that's big on potential and short on resources. Both designers turn to carpenter Amy Wynn Pastor for assistance.
