Episode synopsis

An old man loved a swallow, but when it eats his wifes glue, she cuts out its tongue. He goes deep into the mountains to find her... A packdriver buys a good horse in town, and then some mackeral to give to the god of horses. Shinkichi works at a soy sauce shop, but since he's so careless everyone treats him like a child. The narration and all character voices are provided by veteran Japanese film actors Akira Emoto and Yoneko Matsukane. An English-subtitled version began "simulcast" availability on the streaming service Crunchyroll March 12, 2012.
