Local celebrities in New Zealand try out their dancing shoes in this Kiwi version of the popular show Strictly Come Dancing, that pairs celebrities with professional dancers. They have to complete different types of dancing such as Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Jive, Paso Doble, Rumba and Samba. The judges and the audience vote on the couples performances and then the team with the least number of scores is eliminated until only two couples remain. The final two will then have to compete against each other in order to win Dancing with the Stars.

1. Episode 1

Eight couples prepare for another season in order to take home the trophy. In this non-elimination night the celebrities and their partners will dance either the Waltz or the Cha Cha Cha.
2. Episode 2
Aired 4 March 2008
The eight couples have another chance to impress the judges and the public before the first elimination. In the second round the celebrities and their professional partners perform either the Quickstep or the Rumba.
3. Episode 3
Aired 11 March 2008
Seven remaining couples perform either the Tango or the Jive in order to acquire the viewers' votes and impress the judges, in the end a second couple is voted out.
4. Episode 4
Aired 18 March 2008
This week the six remaining couples will be dancing either the Foxtrot or the Paso Doble as a third pair is eliminated from the competition.
5. Episode 5
Aired 25 March 2008
The five remaining celebrities and their professional partners will face two dances, the Samba and a Group Viennese Waltz. Also, the fourth elimination occurs.
6. Episode 6
Aired 1 April 2008
Each of the remaining couples will perform a Latin and a Ballroom dance. Miriama & Jonny will be doing the Quickstep and the Cha Cha Cha; Monty & Nerida will dance the Waltz and the Rumba; Temepara & Stefano will perform the Tango and the Rumba and Cory & Rebecca, the Waltz and the Paso Doble. Plus, the fifth couple is eliminated.

The celebrities and their professional partners had to perform two dances they have not yet danced on the show. This week, Monty & Nerida are doing the Tango and the Paso Doble, Miriama & Jonny are dancing the Foxtrot and the Jive and Temepara & Stefano will perform the Waltz and the Paso Doble. And we discover which two couple will compete in the Final.
8. Episode 8
Aired 15 April 2008
The two finalists will perform their favorite Ballroom and Latin dances of the season plus the Freestyle routine. Temepara & Stefano will dance the Foxtrot and the Samba while Monty & Nerida will dance the Quickstep and the Rumba. Also, the winner of the fourth season of Dancing With The Stars is announced.
