RAY wins in the intercollegiate male rowing competition. Colleagues are discussing the widespread of manpower cut in the government while KIT worries very much about his team transfer. To keep his bread and butter, KIT approaches his superior, CHUNG, and negotiates his transfer. Knowing CHING is a painting lover, KIT gives CHUNG a famous and expensive painting that belongs to LOI. After being fired, FREEMAN buys a ticket to L.A. to see his girlfriend, ANNIE. Unexpectedly, FREEMAN meets ANNIE, who has just returned, in Hong Kong Airport. After retrieving the painting from CHUNG, LOI prepares to reprimand KIT. RAY comes to LOI to confess, mistaken that LOI has discovered that he is translating subtitles for pornographic movies. Man Tai-Lor (Chung King Fai) controls the Man family with an iron fist, much to the displeasure of his son Man Chiu-Kit (Ha Yu), who is constantly trying to assert his authority within the family. When Tai-Lor developed Parkinson's disease, he hides his anxieties by retiring from his job as a school principal and concealing his ailment from his family. When the truth is revealed, he decides to step down as the patriarch of his family and lets Chiu-Kit run the family.
