About this season
Runaway Bay was a children's adventure television series, which ran from 1992 to 1993. The series followed a group of friends having adventures while living on the island of Martinique in the Caribbean. The show was principally produced by Lifetime Productions International Ltd with Ellipse Productions for the television networks Antenne 2, CBS Television, and Yorkshire Television. In the UK, the show was screened on ITV. The character of Shuku was one of Naomie Harris's first television roles.

Florence's daughter Zoe discovers a gold bar that had been stashed in a storage room at the hotel. She finds herself in danger when the thief who hid it returns to collect it. Dion and Chan are initially reluctant to assist believing Zoe to have cried wolf one too many times.

Tom competes in the island triathlon and is up against a seemingly unbeatable opponent. Satch and Mr. Snotts arrange a sweepstake on the outcome of the race.

Jahman is fishing at sea when he is narrowly missed by a cannonball. Suspecting that it had been fired from a nearby island fort Jojo and Ziggy decide to investigate.

Tracks sent into the radio station by local bands are turning up in the US charts. Ziggy is suspected of selling the tracks to the foreign stations for profit.
