Sarah Bassam is a young Algerian-French singer and actress from the Algerian city of Constantinople, whose real name is Marianne. Her artistic debut was in the field of fashion shows in France and beauty pageants in Algeria. Despite her success in the field of fashion shows, where she appeared frequently on the Parisian catwalks, she decided, suddenly, to leave this field and become professional in singing and acting, moving to live in Egypt.
