Of Japanese-Swiss mixed heritage (Japanese father, Swiss mother), she gained attention for her delicate facial features and attractive figure. She became well-known among Chinese-speaking audiences after starring as the leading lady in Jay Chou’s music video *Rain All Night Long* in 2010.
