Episode synopsis
MAK SEI and OI-KIU impersonate grey-market vendors to investigate the counterfeit baby formula case, and they run into SHUM WING after they sneak into a warehouse to check things out. After MAK SEI learns about OI-KIU's hearing impairment, he asks her what caused it, so OI-KIU recalls her childhood. It turns out that SHUM WING slapped her on the head, resulting in her hearing loss; whereas MAK SEI also comes to realize the leftover resentments that OI-KIU has towards her father. KA-KA falls ill, so TAK-KEI tries his best to look after her. They look very happy together, making CHOW CHING green with envy. When TAK-KEI goes to cook the congee for KA-KA, CHOW CHING physically bumps into him and purposely gets herself injured, leaving TAK-KEI no other choice but to agree to be her assistant and take part in the baking competition.… ...
