Rita is waiting for Norman to pick her up. Eli has no trust in his son being able to run The Clarion, the local newspaper. Allison and Rod are looking for Norman and Rita for their double date, but Norman is nowhere to fight since his fight with Joe. Betty is also on a date with Steven. Dr. Rossi visits the Chernak home to look after the ill Gus Chernak. Stella mentions she hadn't been in Peyton Place for over 7 years, before she invites him to stay for dinner.
