Episode synopsis
KWAN was put in prison. LOK was ashamed and bailed KWAN out to wait for judgment. KWAN by chance discovered the story of his real father TING SHAN. SHAN and his wife MAN eloped to Hong Kong. They met LOK and LUK HOI. Three of them joined together to set up their own business. Afterward, they were appreciated by LAW KIN and became his followers. They incidentally got a batch of arms and decided to have their own clan. It was recognized by WAH BILL who compelled one of them to confess. LOK's private interest made him to set SHAN up. SHAN was shot to death. MAN was distressed and committed suicide. For these years, LOK still regretted in mind. After KWAN knew the truth, he was disheartened. He determined to leave during the wedding of CHUN WAH and SIN MEI. However, WAH BILL discovered and chased after the two. CHUN WAH was shot when he tried to protect KWAN.
About The Battle Among the Clans
The story begins with the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong coming to an end in 1945 and the remaining Japanese dying or leaving the territory. The British colonial government have yet to fully resume its duties. Citizens themselves are flushing out the remaining traitors one by one. Soon, multiple societies of different legions were formed within the HK underground. Each one tries to control the city in a time of very weak and corrupt governance.
