Episode synopsis
YAT TIN bribed over the police and made a false accusation on KWAN. KWAN was put in prison and waited for sending out the boundary. When LAM JOE tried to set him free, KWAN had already been sent to somewhere else. KUEN finally realized that KWAN was detained on an island, JOE and his men went there at once. JOE could not find KWAN on the island and thought he was dead. In fact, KWAN was seized by pirate and asked to one of their followers. LOK recognized that YAT TIN did all things, he regretted. He and KWAN CHI set up a company to lament for KWAN and CHUN WAR SHI MAY was also in distress. YAT TIN started wooing SIN MEI again who promised to his proposal. KWAN CHI objected their marriage due to CHUN WAH had died not so long ago. Though HONG KWAN was given important position, he disagreed with pirate's behavior. He decided to run away with the help of his friend HO YEUT TUNG.
About The Battle Among the Clans
The story begins with the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong coming to an end in 1945 and the remaining Japanese dying or leaving the territory. The British colonial government have yet to fully resume its duties. Citizens themselves are flushing out the remaining traitors one by one. Soon, multiple societies of different legions were formed within the HK underground. Each one tries to control the city in a time of very weak and corrupt governance.
