Episode synopsis
WAN CHI understood that HONG KWAN could not forget SHI MAY. She brought up to KWAN for separation and felt helpless. Fortunately, WAN CHI was touched by KUEN's truth love and decided to marry him. LOK was sympathized for the two and agreed to their marriage. SHI MAY thought that HONG KWAN was not responsible to WAN CHI, which made her being alone. She questioned him severely. KWAN could hardly explain but blessed WAN CHI in heart. LAM JOE had married SZE HO. In order to occupy HO's authority, JOE tried to obliterate her adherents. On the other hand, JOE expanded the drug business by sending his followers to get more business anonymously. It made LOK lose confidence in him.
About The Battle Among the Clans
The story begins with the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong coming to an end in 1945 and the remaining Japanese dying or leaving the territory. The British colonial government have yet to fully resume its duties. Citizens themselves are flushing out the remaining traitors one by one. Soon, multiple societies of different legions were formed within the HK underground. Each one tries to control the city in a time of very weak and corrupt governance.
