Episode synopsis
When CHUN WAH was having transport of goods, he met pirate and the goods were all robbed away. Luckily, LAM JOE helped him to return to Hong Kong. WAH was ashamed and had grievances towards LOK. LOK claimed to him that he didn't have any prejudice against him and encouraged him working hard for his business. YAT TIN was not glad of LOK being exalted in the upper class society. He sent his follower FUNG TAK to disclose LOK's infamous act in public and put it in newspaper. LOK recognized and used any means to change it. YAT TIN was driven mad. HONG KWAN was furious and questioned FUNG TAK who was the person in the backstage. TAK asked KWAN CHI to help who pleaded with LOK for mercy. LOK promised not to press TAK anymore. In order to expand his attack to LOK, YAT TIN made use of his relation with WAH BILL to take in LOK's sphere. However, BILL didn't move and TIN was angry……
About The Battle Among the Clans
The story begins with the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong coming to an end in 1945 and the remaining Japanese dying or leaving the territory. The British colonial government have yet to fully resume its duties. Citizens themselves are flushing out the remaining traitors one by one. Soon, multiple societies of different legions were formed within the HK underground. Each one tries to control the city in a time of very weak and corrupt governance.
