Episode synopsis
YING CHING has to borrow money from a loan shark to pay her crew salaries. SAI becomes unemployed. He has to work for a parking company again. However, he is laughed at when he cannot drive a new model car. CHEUNG is sympathetic to him when he sees it. KING forces CHEUNG to be sarcastic towards him and irritates him. LING sets off a fire in the restaurant kitchen accidentally. UNCLE CHUNG breaks his leg, but WAI still forces him to work long hours. YING CHING says that she will cover for him, but she comes across many difficulties on the first working day. KING finds out that WAI has stolen YING CHING’s negatives and asks him to resign in the board meeting. Unpredictably, WAI reveals that he owns more than half of the shares and kicks KING off of the board.

In an unexpected incident, Bai Chuangshi (played by Bobby Au-Yeung) meets Gai Yingjing (played by Sheren Tang), the daughter of a famous figure in the film industry, Gai Lan. Due to some misunderstandings between them, they have quite an unpleasant encounter. Bai Chuangshi secretly harbors feelings for the tea restaurant owner, Gu Zhenqing (played by Power Chan Kwok-Pong), but he chooses to bury this sincere affection deep within his heart. Lan Guangchang (played by Michael Tse) is a children's program host who has always dreamed of becoming a movie star. However, given his current situation, it seems his dream is still a long way off. Gai Lan sees great potential in Lan Guangchang and signs a contract with him, promising to help him rise to stardom. Unfortunately, just after the contract is signed, Gai Lan unexpectedly passes away. Helpless, Lan Guangchang has no choice but to pin his hopes for success on Gai Yingjing.
