Episode synopsis
LEO takes up the case to defend TING for her drug offence. He asks TING to recall the occurrence before and after the incident, but cannot find anything unusual. Raymond wants Susan to come back to his arm and decides to separate MAN. PING is shocked and upset to know that YING is the daughter of Raymond. To avoid the entanglement of Raymond, Susan suggests that they should have a trip outside with the whole family. LEO bails TING out and he takes her to hospital to visit HA. TING feels comfort when HA trusts her. Before the court opens, TING has an argument with the judge and she worries that the judge may have a bad impression on her. TING does not want to be jailed again because she has not committed the offence. She unexpectedly borrows money from Ben. It is lucky that HA has discovered something wrong with her and tells LEO what she behaves. LEO suspects Ben’s motive behind the lending money to TING……

Five years ago, Hong Kong citizen YAN TING (SO YUK WAH, LOUISA) was wrongly found guilty of murdering her husband LAU KAI CHUNG (WAN SIU LUN, DERIC) in Taiwan. TING is released and returns to Hong Kong. She still believes in justice and has faith in regaining what has been stripped from her. She is shocked when she meets a man BEN YUEN (also played by WAN SIU LUN, DERIC) who looks exactly like CHUNG. However, CHUNG was certified dead in Taiwan. TING is completely bewildered at BEN’s existence. The truth is slowly revealed. TING decides to strike back. BEN sets TING up for jail again. Fortunately, she meets a warm-hearted lawyer LEO LAW (LAM, BOWIE). LEO works hard on her case. His effort seems to have paid off when he digs further into the truth...
