Episode synopsis
KUEN leaves home after a quarrel with MING. TING locates KUEN at the seafront where KUEN loses balance and falls into the sea. Luckily, TING rescues KUEN regardless of her own safety. Through this incident, the relationship of the family members turns better from worse. With evidence, LEO challenges Mrs. TAM, who has filed a lawsuit against the garage of MING and eventually MING wins the case and the garage can continue to operate. Raymond returns to Hong Kong after a business trip and LEO avoids seeing him by offering help to TING for her removal. Raymond and his mother, LAM SAU PING, go and visit HEUNG. PING was originally a family servant of LAW’s and she feels grateful to the LAW’s assistance in preparing Raymond’ career, to which Raymond thinks otherwise. Susan is caught for shop lifting when Raymond comes to rescue, but Susan does not feel appreciated……

Five years ago, Hong Kong citizen YAN TING (SO YUK WAH, LOUISA) was wrongly found guilty of murdering her husband LAU KAI CHUNG (WAN SIU LUN, DERIC) in Taiwan. TING is released and returns to Hong Kong. She still believes in justice and has faith in regaining what has been stripped from her. She is shocked when she meets a man BEN YUEN (also played by WAN SIU LUN, DERIC) who looks exactly like CHUNG. However, CHUNG was certified dead in Taiwan. TING is completely bewildered at BEN’s existence. The truth is slowly revealed. TING decides to strike back. BEN sets TING up for jail again. Fortunately, she meets a warm-hearted lawyer LEO LAW (LAM, BOWIE). LEO works hard on her case. His effort seems to have paid off when he digs further into the truth...
