Whilst FUNG CHEE returns the proposal to the advertising company, she meets with KWOK LEUNG there. Fortunately, he is tactful enough to disguise. FUNG CHEE wants to return the proposal to the owner but it mistakenly falls into the hands of CHEUK YAN who seeks rewards from the company. This is making HAY TONG vary furious. FUNG CHEE understands and apologizes for her bringing trouble for HAY TUNG. CHAN KIN and SIU KUEN had quarrels about their children's wedding some years ago. They now become trivial enemies. In addition, CHAN.KIN treats SIU KUEN's son CHI MAN as cheap labourer. This worsens the relationship between them. KWOK LEUNG fears some day his family will find out his affair with HAY TUNG. When HAY TUNG was still little, her parents separated and refused to take care of her. Fortunately, her neighbour YUK JING takes the library to look after her. HAY TUNG is made very disappointed about marriage. In her youth, she incidentally met with Inspector LI JING CHUNG and was attracted by his masculine outlook. They got married very soon. Since both of them were still young and didn’t know the way to understand each other, their marriage last for two years only. BAY TONG is depressed with her marriage. She tries to get excitement by fouling around with several different guys. When she meets with RWOK LEUNG, she is greatly impressed by his sincerity. YUK JING is old and weak. Her family is unable to take care of her. To return her thanks, HAY TUNG sends her to the elderly home and bears all the charges involved for her. CHOY JUNG goes to do voluntary work at the elderly home. There he incidentally meets with KWOK LEONG who sends YUK JING to the home. He discovers the relationship between KWOK LEUNG and HAY TONG. He is very upset. HAY TONG's best friend, STELLA, needs a large amount of money to cure her kidney problem. She has no alternative but to borrow money from the bank. Since she is drunk, she tries to reveal her secret relationship with a married man. She even cries and complains in front of FUNG CHEE who feels pity for her. KWOK LEUNG is there also. CHI MAN takes MEI PO to play in the street. They meet with KIT YING. He gets to know their relationship as mother and daughter. He understands KIT YING has to bring up her daughter all alone by herself since the departure of her husband. He feels pity for her. CHEUK YAN gets known that a big customer is coming to town. He wants to prove his ability at the absence of HEY TUNG. Unexpectedly, YUEN CHI is taking the same plane back to Hong Kong as HAY TUNG. HAY TUNG tries to get close to her and is able to obtain the chance of cooperation. Thus, she proves her ability to CHEUK YAN. STELLA takes gambling as seriously as her first life. She uses her mother’s medical reserve money to gamble and losses all the money. She even owes and has to repay a large sum of money. She is in difficulties. In order to expand his investments in Mainland China, KWOK LEUNG is forced to mortgage both his factory and flat to the bank. This is great pressure for him. FUNG CHEE cannot act as if nothing happens in front of KWOK LEUNG so she tries to avoid him. KWOK LEUNG feels there must be something behind her so he tries to find out from her. FUNG HEE can bear no more and speak frankly to him about his mistress. However, KWOK LEUNG still has not had any intention of withdrawal.
