Episode synopsis
LAN strongly believes that she was bothered by spirit. Hence, she dares not return to the cinema. YIN suspects the spirit is his mother. MUI asks a Taoist to drive the spirit away. CHAI scolds MUI angrily. YING brings CHAI and YIN to see SIN. CHAI is very disappointed that it is not his wife. SIN lies to CHAI that his wife has already started a new life. MUI and LAI are secret lovers. MUI is very dissatisfied with CHAI who had scolded her. The typhoon signal is hoisted. YING is sick. She still goes to the Telegraph Office to answer KWOK`s call. YIN worries a lot for YING. He goes to the Telegraph Office to take her home. SIN knows that YIN does love YING but it is too late. YIN delivers a bonus to all staff. YING spends all her bonus to buy KWOK a bed. KWOK eventually returns. YING is very excited.
About A Loving Spirit
The celebrated Tung Sing Cinema has a full house at all times; but who would have thought that a spot as busy as it has been haunted for a period? It is early 60’s, definitely a trying time for Hong Kong. Unemployed YING has just been given a job as a ticket-seller by the Tung Sing Cinema on her friend SUK’s recommendation. YING works very diligently and responsibly and is therefore highly regarded by her boss, YIN. However when YING keeps stating that there is an apparition around the cinema, YIN soon gets irritated. In time, YING and YIN see the spirit SIN and from her, they learn that YIN’s step-mother MUI has been having an affair with the manager of the cinema, LAI and that they have planned to seize YIN’s property. Will the Tung Sing Cinema stay haunted in the days ahead
