Episode synopsis
TAK explains that he coward behaviour is used to protect his real identity. FA and YUK are excited. LUNG is frustrated as YUK involves in fighting the royal family. LUNG finds that he loves PING and he tries convince her to give up rebellious work. However PING tells him that she will only marry him when her task has been fulfilled. TAK gets the news that the emperor has left the palace. PING and MING think that it is the best time to assassinate the emperor. LUNG is frightened. YUK suggests to spread the news so as to force the emperor to appear. YING hears the news and knows that it is spreader by rebellious people. He works hard to find LUNG. On the other hand, KWAI shows 0ff by disclosing the jade chop after he has drunk too much wine. When he wakes up, he finds that he is in YING's house. YING suspects him and at the time being, TAI arrives and he forces KWAI to tell where LUNG is……
About The Emperor and I
“The Emperor and I” tells the story of Emperor Lung (Eddie Cheung) and Yuk (Marco Ngai). The two men were of very different backgrounds and yet by chance, they became friends. At first, they were so close that they were willing to sacrifice for each other. However, their difference in belief and status quo inevitably led to their contradiction and they eventually were against each other.
