Episode synopsis
YING scolds WAN and KIU. For WAN's sake, KIU shoulders the accusation. As YING loves KIU, he promises not to punish them. WAN is sick as she is exhausted. KIU takes care of her and incidentally overhears that YING is the one who kills FU. KIU is in deep grief and leaves YING. She takes temporary accommodation in a church. YING thinks that KIU cannot forget YUK and sends henchmen to kill YUK. YUK is saved by FUE and on the way, they meet GANG. GANG is hurt when he tries to protect YUK and before he dies, he asks YUK to take care of FUE. At last they meet SAM. On the other hand, YING is discontented to know that YUK has managed to run away. He tortures TAK though WAN begs him to release TAK. YING becomes drunk and he goes to the church. There he wants to rape KIU. His filthy act is in vain, so he sets the church on rife. Meanwhile YING is instructed to escort TAK to the capital……
About The Emperor and I
“The Emperor and I” tells the story of Emperor Lung (Eddie Cheung) and Yuk (Marco Ngai). The two men were of very different backgrounds and yet by chance, they became friends. At first, they were so close that they were willing to sacrifice for each other. However, their difference in belief and status quo inevitably led to their contradiction and they eventually were against each other.
