Episode synopsis
All the servants in CHIN's family are gossiping about a woman who is in fact CHIN TUNG in disguise, which is overheard by OLD MADAM CHIN. OLD MADAM CHIN reprimands CHO CHING for having CHIN TUNG disguised as a woman, and according to her, CHO CHING's behavior has brought disgrace on her family. CHIN SHEUNG advises CHO CHING not to fight for the luminous pearl that is going to be given out by OLD MADAM CHIN, whereas CHO CHING, who wants to seize the opportunity to reverse the bad impression that OLD MADAM CHIN has on her, claims that she is determined to have the pearl. SHAN CHA buys a turtle as her gift for OLD MADAM CHIN, and CHO CHING helps feed the turtle when SHAN CHA goes to have a meal. On OLD MADAM CHIN's birthday, CHO CHING and CHIN TUNG find favor with OLD MADAM CHIN by making the "Eight Immortal Longevity Noodles". Unexpectedly, the turtle that was given by SHAN CHA is found dead……

Cho Tsing and her mother Cho Cho Bi Yue are itinerant beauticians wandering the country in search of Cho Tsing's missing father. In the course of their wanderings, Cho Tsing falls in love with Tsin Tung and the two become husband and wife. San Cha has been Tsin Tung's personal maid since childhood, and the two have an understanding that ignites Cho Tsing's jealousy. Cho Tsing's attempts get rid of San Cha by marrying her off backfire when Tsin Tung realises he loves her and takes her as a concubine. Cho Tsing resents having to share a husband with another woman and, when Tsin Tung divorces her, she seeks solace with another man, her former enemy Kai Chun.
