A group of school leavers outside the testing center of the school certificate examination are discussing means of spending the long summer vacation in the wake of the exam ordeal. On the other hand, they are also worrying ahout their future. The only daughter of rich merchant Chung Yi-cheng, Ke Erh is pretty, sprightly and straightforward, winning much admiration from her classmates.
