Couple Liang Ken and Yeh Ling, illegally sold to Australia as slave laborers, are working hard under foreman Liu Shih. One day, the two discover to their delight diamonds contained inside the wreckage of a plane in a jungle and decide to wait for a proper opportunity to flee. They fail to get a chance in four years. As Liu Shih begins to fall for Yeh Ling, they get Chiao Chi-fu's help to escape. The trio is caught while fleeing. Ken is killed while Yeh Ling and Chi-fu make good escape. On their way back to China, Chi-fu woos Ling. Ling turns him down but promises to maintain their friendship. 16 years later, Yeh Ling becomes a rich and powerful woman in Hong Kong.
