Episode synopsis
WAI is newly appointed as a public prosecutor and as she is in charge OT the accusation OT MEI, she discovers her relationship with CHUEN and MEI. She is confused. WAI finds that CHUEN has gone to the hospital to beg MA to forgive her. She is embarrassed. However for justice, WAI decides to shoulder the responsibility to accuse MEI. WAI blames CHUEN that CHUEN has not done her duty to teach MEI. MEI's bad behaviour is the result Of CHUEN's abandoning them. CHUEN is depressed but suddenly she has an idea to help MEI. WAI goes to the orphanage to change her personal information so that CHUEN cannot find her. CHUEN suspects that WAI is her daughter but WAI does not admit.
About Journey of Love
Ho Nga Chun was a widow raising 5 young children (ages 10 and under) on her own. Desperate for money, she cheated during a mahjong game, but was caught. She decided to escape to the Philippines until everything blows over, meanwhile temporarily leaving her children at various places. However, in the Philippines, she was framed for murder and jailed for 18 years. Upon her return to Hong Kong in search of her children with hopes of reuniting the family, she is instead met with attitudes of indifference and resentment.
