Episode synopsis
YAN is forced to work as a security guard in order to earn a living. He meets his ex-subordinate, CHA BAO, who appears as a millionaire from the South East Asia. BAO holds a pearl exhibition. YAN suspects him to be the murderer as he suddenly came rich. YAN wants to inform PETER LAU the case. However, PETER thinks that YAN wants to ask him for money. Thus, he keeps away from YAN. LAI threatens YAN to divorce but still could not change YAN's attitude. LAI then proposes to be economically independent. VAN's income falls short of the expenditure and lives very hard. SEE is willing to share the family responsibility. She applies for a job in the hotel. However, she is inexperience and is not employed. Later, the personnel appreciates her sincerity and employs her as the odd-job lady. YAN keeps on investigate CHA BAO and finds out that his ex?-wife, HUNG DO, has followed BAO.
