Episode synopsis
HING comes to visit PING in HUI's funeral. PING cries on his shoulder. YING argues with PING -For FA's land. CHUNG drives YING away. Later HING leads YING to beg her to forgive him. PING thanks HING and gives him a present. LIN knows that HING is going to marry PING and is afraid that her role will be endangered. PING asks CHUNG what he will do if he has killed an innocent person. CHUNG states that he will kill himself. As PING does not want CHUNG to hurt himself, she decides to marry HING to find a chance to avenge. HING states that there is no need +or PING to pay special respect to his wives and other concubines. PING agrees to sleep with HING after one hundred days to show her respect to HUI. HING has to accept the term reluctantly.
About Gentle Reflections
Based on the famous Chinese novel “Kam Ping Mui”, “Gentle Reflections” is about the love and hatred of three girls, Lin (Irene Wan), Yi (Kennix Kwok) and Mui (Yeung Ling). Lin was forced to marry Long (Liu Kai Chi). She was miserableand begged Chung (Tsang Wai Kuen) to take her away, but he refused. Lin was desperate and when Hing (Sinn Lap Man) came and seduced her, she was more than willing to kill Long and marry Hing. Yi loved Chung but due to misunderstanding, she married Hui instead. Hing lusted for Yi and killed Hui to get his hands on her. Yi then pretended to marry Hing in order to kill him for revenge. Lin and Yi competed for Hing’s attention and Lin’s maid Mui was involved…
