Episode synopsis
This week: from Sweden William Clauson with Los Guaramex. Entertaining you tonight is a red-haired, Swedish-born, American-educated singer who is accompanied by a Latin-American group called Los Guaramex. William Clauson went to school in California and there became familiar with Mexican popular music. He and his group now have a world-wide reputation for playing Latin-American music, but Clauson also sings authentic Australian songs, children's songs, and sea shanties. Los Guaramex comprise Pepito Villa (melody guitar) who comes from Mexico, Ronal Cerutti (rhythm guitar) from Argentina, and Sergio Cuevas (Paraguayan harp) who, not surprisingly, is from Paraguay.
