Episode synopsis

Learning of the rift between Ouyang Jun and his father, Xia Zhuo and Lü Zheng resolved to help resolve the misunderstanding. They planned to dine with Ouyang Hua to understand the situation, but were repeatedly turned away at the door. During another visit, they pretended to be sent by Ouyang Jun to check on him, finally prompting Ouyang Hua to reveal the root of their discord and soften his attitude toward them. Ouyang Hua praised Ouyang Jun for excelling—promoted shortly after joining the military—and showed them his photos. Xia Zhuo and Lü Zheng exchanged glances, then chose to play along without exposing the truth.
