Episode synopsis

Lü Zheng ordered Xia Zhuo to return the money and revoked his privilege to visit Liang Nuo. Yi Zimeng and Lin Anbang were baffled upon learning this, unable to understand why Xia Zhuo wouldn't reveal the truth. New equipment for the 270th Brigade was about to arrive, coinciding with the discharge season. Lü Zheng and the political instructor convened a meeting of platoon leaders, seeking recommendations for new platoon commanders. Yang Wanjin informs Ouyang Jun that both he and Xia Zhuo have been excluded from consideration due to the money-giving incident. The new equipment arrives at the 270th Brigade, and Lang Yongcheng joins Yang Wanjin, Hou Jidong, and Chen Haofeng in testing it.
