Episode synopsis

Mrs. Lang approached Lü Zheng and the instructor, hoping they would approve Lang Yongcheng's discharge. Yi Zimeng was frustrated over a botched performance accompaniment, and Xia Zhuo advised him to take it easy. Yan Yibing practiced her script for the morale-boosting performance, but Wang Tian felt her delivery was poor and stepped in to demonstrate—only to be overheard by the instructor. Impressed by Wang Tian's hosting skills, the instructor assigns her the role. Yang Wanjin seeks approval for Lang Yongcheng's discharge report from Lü Zheng, who reluctantly signs it with tear-filled eyes. Due to a landslide, the cultural troupe cannot perform, forcing the morale-boosting event to become a joint military-civilian gathering—much to Lin Anbang's frustration.
