Episode synopsis
"Biker Bear" is an episode from The New Yogi Bear Show (1988). In this episode, Yogi Bear encounters a tough, motorcycle-riding bear who is known as "Biker Bear." This new character rolls into Jellystone Park, creating a stir among the visitors and Ranger Smith. Yogi, always eager to stand out, decides to try and impress Biker Bear by adopting a similar biker persona and joining in on his wild antics. However, Yogi quickly realizes that being a "biker" is not as easy as it looks, especially when his clumsy attempts to imitate Biker Bear lead to one mishap after another. While Yogi struggles to keep up with Biker Bear's rebellious lifestyle, Boo Boo remains concerned that Yogi might get into trouble.
About The New Yogi Bear Show
The New Yogi Bear Show is a 30-minute weekday animated series which aired on syndication in 1988 as part of The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera's 4th season. But it was the also the fifth incarnation of Hanna-Barbera's Yogi Bear. It contained 45 new episodes combined with reruns of the original 1960s Yogi series. Pared down from some of the other, recent incarnations of the adventures of Yogi and friends, this series featured only Yogi, Boo-Boo, Cindy and Ranger Smith, with episodes set in Jellystone Park. The show also introduced four new characters: Ranger Roubideux, Ninja Raccoon, Ninja Raccoon's mom, and Blubber Bear from Wacky Races.
