Episode synopsis
KATE tells LAO that she is pregnant, which makes him believe that he still has to hold on, just for the sake of their baby. LAO knows JING’s true identity and has made a threat to disclose the secret in order to ensure his family’s safety. FONG cannot concentrate and has made lots of mistakes when practising dancing. LUNG teaches FONG some basic techniques of Spanish dancing and their relationship has improved a lot since then. A hitman suddenly appears while FONG is giving a performance to EMPEROR CHAI. The hitman targets EMPEROR CHAI but has hurt FONG accidentally. FONG is dying and can no longer hide her affection for LUNG. She finally confesses her love to him. LUNG promises he will marry her after her recovery. LUNG guesses that TIN DAN, an official working for the Chai Empire, is the real plotter of the assassination. About A Step Into The Past
A Step into the Past is a 2001 Hong Kong television series produced by TVB and based on Huang Yi's novel of the same Chinese title. The series tells the story of a 21st-century Hong Kong VIPPU officer who travels back in time to the Warring States period of ancient China. He is involved in a number of important historical events that leads to the first unification of China under the Qin Dynasty. The series' first original broadcast ran from 15 October to 7 December 2001 on the TVB Jade network in Hong Kong.
