Episode synopsis

In the special 90 minute opening we are introduced to Wes Kennedy. Wes has just lost his wife in a brutal murder. This is leaving him with brutal flashbacks of the murder. While recovering from his wife's death, he has shifted his job to the night shift to be at home for his kids in the day.

Wes Kennedy is a cop who works long hours at night in order to spend the daytime with his two teenage kids Robin and Kevin... Heart of the City was a crime drama that aired on the ABC television network from September 1986 to January 1987.
