The inaugural edition of 'Tomorrow's World' presents a report on the state of the art in kidney dialysis machines capable of being used in the patient's home; A report on lessons in fresh water management drawn from the Dutch flood defence system; and a look at the possibility that the Mariner 4 space probe may uncover evidence of life on Mars.
About Tomorrow's World
Tomorrow's World was a long-running BBC television series on new developments in science and technology. First transmitted on 7 July 1965 on BBC1, it ran for 38 years until it was cancelled at the beginning of 2003.
