Episode synopsis
SHING saves a man who lies on the train track and tries to kill himself from hitting by a train. The man called NGAU used to work in Sheung’s Chamber. He wants to kill himself because he is sacked after being accused of stealing. TSAU-KUK knows the secret that the young master CHO is connected with the old master's death when she finds LAN is making offerings to the deceased old master. FEI-FEI carelessly hurts herself when she is playing and drinking. While TIP is away, TSAU-KUK is asked to find FEI-FEI a doctor from a far place. Although FEI-FEI and her baby are fine, TSAU-KUK is beaten hardly by WONG. TSAU-KUK discloses the secret about the old master's death to TIP when TIP is visiting her together with YEE. Sheung's Silver Chamber, the largest jewel company in Foshan, Guangdong Province China, is facing serious financial difficulties. In order to obtain a loan from Shum’s family, Sheung Hang (Paul Chun), owner of the Chamber, together with his primary wife, Choi Siu-Tip (Nancy Sit Ka Yin), plot to arrange marriage between Sheung Wan (Ng Wai Kwok), Hang’s younger brother, and Shum Wing-Tung (Winnie Young), daughter of Shum’s family. Fueled by hatred, Ching Sau-Hang (Christine Ng), Wan’s lover, marries Hang and ironically becomes Wan’s sister-in-law. Wan falls out with Hang, and opts to live abroad and disconnects from his family.
