Episode synopsis

Cho-Kwan notices something unusual about Yiu-Kwok when he attends her brother's funeral. Suspecting more complications about Chun-Kit's death, she insists to have an answer from Kin. When she finds out that Kin is answering the crime for his brother, she tries to convince Kin to tell the truth in court. Despite of Hong using his family's financial difficulties to persuade Kin to continue he freud, Kin is determined to hack out. Seeing the adverse situation, Hons runs away irresponsibly. Kin doesn't want to damage Hong's future. He accepts the charge and is sentenced to two years imprisonment. Knowing that Kin is innocent. Cho-Kwan asks her father to pardon Kin. The father and daughter ill feeling revives when Ngai-Kwai thinks that his daughter speaks good of Kin only because she loves him and isn’t concern about her brother's death. Because of his righteousness. Kin arouses the enemata feeling from Kim Shui in the prison……

Many factors contributed to the success of this series. As well as its tragic but memorable storyline, this series featured a strong cast, with Felix Wong, Deric Wan, Carina Lau, Kathy Chow Hoi-Mei and Maggie Shiu. The popular theme song of the series "Yat sang ho kau" was sung by Danny Chan and later by Deric Wan himself.
