Episode synopsis
Involved in a corruption case happened long ago. Ngai-Kwai is charged by ICAC and sent to prison for two years. Siu-Ling is busy with her work at TV station and always returns home late. Thinking that she can't withstand all the materials temptation. Sau-Wan expresses her disapproval. With sympathy. Yat-Fu explains to San-Wan about Siu-Ling's situation. Sau-Wan recognises herself being over sensitive and decides to attend Siu-Ling’s graduation from the actors training course. Siu-Ling is overcome with gratitude. Worried that Sin-Ling may follow her mother's foot step and ends up disastrously in the entertainment business. Sau-Wan decides to tell Siu-Line everything about her mother. Fong-Hung was a superstar during the 50’s and 60's. Just when her career was going uphill. She found herself pregnant. She secretly gave birth to Siu-Ling and save her away to Sau-Wan. She was married to a wealthy businessman and later emigrated overseas……

Looking Back in Anger was a 1989 Hong Kong TV series and one of the most watched TVB series by Chinese people in Hong Kong and around the world. Many factors contributed to the success of this series. As well as its tragic but memorable storyline, this series featured a strong cast, with Felix Wong, Deric Wan, Carina Lau, Kathy Chow Hoi-Mei and Maggie Shiu. The popular theme song of the series "Yat sang ho kau" was sung by Danny Chan and later by Deric Wan himself.
