Episode synopsis
Kin accidentally finds Sau Han’s jade bracelet from a pickpocket. He is not able to find out more because of the martial law. Afraid that he may get into trouble, Lee Hah looks everywhere for Kin. When the two meet again, they open their heart to each other. Hong’s performance in Kai Mei is recognized by Fung who promote him as a member of the board of directors. Everybody is happy for him but he is worried about Sau Han's death. With the help from the police, they catch the pickpocket and find the body of Sau Wan. Kin grieves on Sau Wan’s death. Kin tries to make Hong give away the truth when he returns to Hong Kong. Hong doesn't leak out a clue. He pretends to be very depressed about San Wan’s death so that the family doesn't believe it is caused by him. Hong learns that Kin is bringing Ka Man’s will with him and since he hasn't got the chance to take it from Kin, he is very worried.

Many factors contributed to the success of this series. As well as its tragic but memorable storyline, this series featured a strong cast, with Felix Wong, Deric Wan, Carina Lau, Kathy Chow Hoi-Mei and Maggie Shiu. The popular theme song of the series "Yat sang ho kau" was sung by Danny Chan and later by Deric Wan himself.
