Episode synopsis

Kin doesn't allow Hong to attend Sau Han’s funeral and the two create a heated argument. Feeling very depressed, Kin neglects his business. Cho-Kwan and others are able to understand his feeling. Mei Yan becomes very suspicious about Hong’s intent as she knows about the relationship between him and Ks Man and that Hong has been investigated for being involved with Sau Han‘s death. Seeing the potential of the hot-pot business, Wah Lung sells his share to another company and insists to use the name of "Kwan-Kin" for his new company. Kin hasn't got the heart to fight and gives way to his trick. Hong is ordered to appear in court. But without strong evidence, he doesn't need to go to Malaysia to answer his crime. Chi Man is angry about what Hong has done and decides to resign from Kai Mei. He accidentally wounds Hong with a letter opener during a fight between them.

Many factors contributed to the success of this series. As well as its tragic but memorable storyline, this series featured a strong cast, with Felix Wong, Deric Wan, Carina Lau, Kathy Chow Hoi-Mei and Maggie Shiu. The popular theme song of the series "Yat sang ho kau" was sung by Danny Chan and later by Deric Wan himself.
