Episode synopsis
YIN who is detained in her place offers to copy the Buddhist text for various temples outside the Palace. YI happens to discover YIN’s manuscripts of the Buddhist text, and feels a bit touched when he learns that YIN has been eating on a vegetarian diet for the sake of LING’s late baby son. Knowing that YI is planning for the restructuring of the Special Tactics Force, CHI decides to take some action to fight back. YI points out to CHENG that YIN has changed a lot in her behavior, thus managing to convince the Empress Dowager to stop punishing YIN. HO wonders if WAN can cope with the heavy workload and offers to help her out. HA comes to WAN’s place and is shocked to see HO there. She rebukes WAN for being too lazy and incompetent. LING asks HA out for a chat, during which she praises HA for having punished HO and WAN in a “just” manner. This comes as a real surprise to HA.… ...
About Beyond the Realm of Conscience
Beyond the Realm of Conscience is a 2009 Hong Kong television series. Produced by Mui Siu-ching, the serial is one of the two grand TVB productions to celebrate along with the channel's 42nd anniversary, the other being Born Rich. The drama aired five days a week on the TVB network with 45-minute episodes starting October 19, 2009. Set in the latter years of the Tang Dynasty, Beyond the Realm of Conscience tells the story of palace maid Lau Sam-ho and her relations in the Imperial Palace, beginning with her experiences in the Imperial Household Bureau. The series title roughly means "Plots in the Palace" and is a play on the phrase, a homonym which roughly means "Plots that target and attack the heart".
