Episode 1
YUEN KWOK-FUN and his uncle YAU TAK-KWONG both are the paparazzi of Cha Magazine. They want to take some pictures of the superstar LUI TIN about his illness. Seeing that the rising actor TOM and the leading actress KEUNG CHIN-FUNG are in the same car, FUN and KWONG firmly believe that FUNG wants to cover TOM up for visiting TIN. Then chase after their car closely. KO CHING-MAN accompanies her best friend LEUNG MEI-FUN to the hospital. MAN finds that FUN purposely irritates TOM as to make up some news, and furthermore shooting TIN stealthily. She spoils all his tricks. The cosmetic shopkeeper LING KIT-YUE is doing her hard sell on MAN and eventually makes MAN participate in “The Perfect Women” beauty pageant. CHEUNG LAI-HUNG is a long-retired actress and she has always disagreed with her daughter, MAN for dreaming to be a star. HUNG is terribly upset when seeing some fragments from TV about MAN taking part in the beauty pageant……
Episode 2
When MAN gets home, her father KO GAI-YEUNG helps comfort HUNG. MAN and another rising actress TONG HO-YEE gets along well while they are having a screen test for the new drama. As a motion substitute, TO TENG is required by the martial art instructor to keep repeating lots of dangerous actions. FUNG feels sorry for TENG and helps him out. FUNG gets rid of KWONG and FUN when they find her kissing a guy inside the car. HA BING is a leading entertainment reporter; she digs out several photographs of the guys whom all had some love affairs with FUNG before. FUN recognizes TENG since after FUNG had got rid of him; he then bumped into TENG somewhere nearby. BING decides to make up stories about FUNG and TENG patching up. FUNG is not happy to see YEE and MAN playing around while acting. She indicates to the director that he should give them a lesson. In the dressing room, YEE apologizes to FUNG while MAN refuses to compromise……
Episode 3
FUN hides the truth from his mother, YAU SAU-FONG for working as a paparazzo. When FONG is angry that YUE is trapped into a scandal, FUN then gets to know that YUE is her makeup teacher. FONG turns up with YUE, FUN and KWONG pretend to have a fight in order to avoid seeing YUE. YEE asks MAN and the production assistant DEACON CHONG to go to a private club that is owned by a popular actor WAN SI-WAI. WAI introduces a well-known director, LAW YAU-WAI to everybody and YAU-WAI indicates that his inspiration comes from marijuana. He passes some marijuana to MAN and tries to take advantage of her. MAN reprimands him in front of everybody and leaves. As to keep WAI away from YEE, DEACON has to drink a whole bottle of red wine and gets very drunk. YEE sends DEACON home and finds that he comes from a rich family. After having a fight with her mother, MAN goes to Cha Magazine to straighten out the matter with them……
Episode 4
When FUNG was slapping MAN, a staff of the studio has secretly videotaped the scene. When he shows it to his colleagues, LAM immediately offers a hundred thousand dollars to buy his mobile phone since FUNG is her competitor for the Award of Best Actress. When the incident is uncovered, the press hotly pursues FUNG and asks if she has avenged MAN for the sake of her personal enmities. When LAM reveals to FUNG that she has exposed the matter to the press, FUNG determines to take revenge on LAM. YUE wants to visit FONG and clarify since she meets FUN and KWONG inside a cafe and finds their receding figures look very familiar. YEE is terrified after receiving a phone. So MAN accompanies YEE back home and discovers her secrets. LI CHUEN-HOI is an extra; he brings TENG to visit HUNG. TENG is terribly uneasy to see how much the wounded leg has hurt HUNG. Inside the dressing room, MAN and YEE offend FUNG again……
Episode 5
FUNG invites YEE back home for dinner and YEE is convinced. MAN and YEE then turn against each other. ON decides to get KAN PO-YI whom is the opponent of MAN during the beauty pageant to replace MAN. MAN has no choice but to get back to work. TENG sends some medicated oil for HUNG and helps her go shopping at the market. HUNG is in great pain because of her sore foot and TENG knows she may be suffered from cancer. TENG offers to find a specialist for HUNG and asks FUNG to recommend some orthopedic surgeons. FUNG is disgruntled but still agrees to help. HUNG is touched when FUNG shows her concerns towards her and during their meeting a reporter has taken down their pictures. When LAM dates WAI out, FUN and KWONG eavesdrop on their conversation and set up some photographic equipment in advance at their rendezvous. They have successfully taken some photographs about their affair……
Episode 6
MAN suggests to bring a prosecution against TENG and FUNG but HUNG has to give up this idea due to no evidence. ON announces that DEACON is promoted to be the director and DEACON wants to have a celebration as to patch up MAN and YEE. YEE sends DEACON home and in the car YEE proactively shows her love to DEACON. WAI asks the businessman NG FONG-GWAI to recommends him some part time jobs and KWAI wants to inject some funds into his private club. TOM and YI are taking drugs inside the club. When WAI wants them to leave, GWAI stops him. MAN’s good friend LI SUET-KEI finds that her brother LI CHI-KIN becomes addicted to the cough medicine and they persuade KEI to abstain from it. FUN coincidently sees MAN pour away the cough medicine and mistaken that MAN is the one who takes it. MAN censures TENG when knowing that he has the intension to run away……
Episode 7
Lots of reporters are chasing after MAN about the inside story of how TENG has broken HUNG’s leg. MAN advises TENG to claim that he was incited by FUNG as to appeal for a commutation. LAM KING-YING is the assistant of FUNG; she suddenly turns up and states how HUNG used to corner FUNG in the past. When MAN tries to dig things out from her father, HUNG forbids MAN from asking about her past. FONG helps YUE do her housework and put her kitchen on fire. FUN is not happy when FONG wants him to offer his bedroom to YUE temporarily. YUE purposely teases FUN and makes him stay awake all night. MAN pumps YING and FUNG for more details about the past and gets to know that HUNG was very domineering once. She has played a trick to snatch away the role of Cixi from FUNG. MAN inquires into the cause of the matter, HUNG admits without hesitation that she has taken over the role and confesses that she used to be very selfish……
Episode 8
On the day when TENG is brought to trial, HUNG intercedes with the judge on behalf of TENG. FUN follows MAN and takes some pictures about YEE and DEACON holding hands together. MAN asks FUN not to publish those pictures and FUN brings up his terms of exchange. FUN arranges KWONG to take some intimate pictures of him and MAN under some speculative angles. During the first working day when DEACON acts as a director, he finds his father CHONG CHUNG-TAI and FUNG enters into the same apartment separately and immediately informs his mother LAM SIU-LAN. LAN gets there personally and asks TAI to get dressed properly, then lies to DEACON that TAI and FUNG are there to view the apartment for sale. GWAI introduces WAI to LAN; LAN does appreciate when WAI tries to flatter her. FUN is dressed in tuxedo to meet MAN and indicates that he has thought of a way MAN can reward him……
