MEI is taken to the police station. ANGIE shows up in the identity of her lawyer and claims that she has found a witness who can prove MEI’s innocence. MEI is surprised that the witness is NIN. YUEN finds that his mother and wife have been reconciled, and that ANGIE has agreed to work as their family lawyer. FU is learning at the different departments of the bank. TAI YICK-YAN of the Investment Department is meeting a client. FU requests to go with her. SZETO FUNG, YAN’s boyfriend who is also the head of the department, accepts his request despite it is against the bank’s policy. FU talks the client into investing in a fund. When MAN asks about this later, FUNG shifts the blame onto YAN. MAN has asked FU to assess whether the bank should grant a loan to a company.
